Born in Morocco. PhD at Geneva University in philosophy discerned by prof. George Steiner, Cambridge and Geneva, members of the jury : Prof. Emmanuel Levinas (Sorbonne), prof. Henri Meschonnic (Paris VIII) et prof. Robert Martin-Achard (Geneva) with the mention of : Summa cum laude.
Professor Emeritus of Strasbourg University and Member of the Institut Universitaire de France (Paris). I have taught in the universities of Geneva, Lausanne (Swiss); Laval (Quebec, Canada); Strasbourg (France) and as guest-prof at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem between 2010-2016 (department of jewish studies)
I have published about fifteen books. Some of them were translated in Italian and Spanish. In 2017 two of my books were published a) The forgetting of the letter, Paris and b) Paris’ school. Judaïsm reconsidered on the Seine banks (Strasbourg university press).
