26 Israeli projects received the ERC Starting Grants 2023 

Congratulations! The European Research Council published, on Tuesday September 5, 2023, the list of 400 ERC Starting Grants 2023 winners who will benefit from a global budget of 627 million euros.

In Israel, 26 projects had been selected, the majority of which are in the field of life sciences and hard sciences. Of the 26 laureates, 10 are attached to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This call was aimed at young researchers at the start of their careers (2 to 7 years post-thesis). With 1.5 million euros on average over 5 years, each laureate will be able to build a team of their choice, around a major scientific problem.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | Apply for the Marc de Montalembert Prize!

The Marc de Montalembert Foundation and the École du Louvre are sponsoring the Marc de Montalembert Prize, worth 9,000 euros. The prize will be awarded to support a research project whose anticipated results will constitute an original contribution to the knowledge of the arts of the Mediterranean world from Antiquity to our day. The Foundation will also offer the prize holder the possibility of a residency at its headquarters in Rhodes, Greece.

To be eligible, the candidate must:

  • be either born in or a citizen of a country bordering the Mediterranean;
  • be under 35 years of age on November 30, 2023;
  • hold a PhD degree (doctorate).

The Ecole du Louvre has been entrusted with the organization of a call for applicants for the "Fondation Marc de Montalembert".

The prize is a 9 000€ scholarship, a 1 month-research stay in the Ecole du Louvre Research Center (including a financial support for the stay in Paris) and the possibility to publish an article. The prize winner will also have the possibility to be hosted at the Fondation’s headquarters in Rhodes (Greece).

 

The applicants must :
– be no more than 35 years old
– hold a Ph.D and be specialized in the arts and culture of the Mediterranean area
– be a native of a country on the border of the Mediterranean Sea
The candidates may apply in French or English

אל מול ההצלחה הכבירה, במיוחד בתקופת משבר הקורונה, של תופעת הפודקסט ואיתה התיעוד הרדיופוני, מציע בית הספר הגבוה ע"ש לואי לומייאר, המוסד להשכלה גבוהה למקצועות הקול והתמונה בפריז, סדנה אינטנסיבית בת 5 שבועות להפקת פודקאסט או תוכנית תעודה רדיופונית. המכון הצרפתי בישראל מציע מלגה בת 3,580 יורו לתמיכה במועמדות של סטודנט או איש מקצוע ישראלי צעיר.

סדנת הקיץ בבית הספר הגבוה לואי לומייאר, מוצעת לראשונה לעשרה מועמדים ממדינות בודדות בעולם, ביניהם ישראל. ההשתתפות בסדנה מותנית בבחינה מוקדמת של איכות ומקצועיות הפרויקטים של המועמדים. הסדנה בת חמישה שבועות של הכשרה אינטנסיבית תתקיים בתאריכים 15 ביולי- 19 באוגוסט. המכון הצרפתי לישראל יעניק תמיכה כספית של 3,580 יורו למועמד הנבחר לכיסוי עלויות ההדרכה והשהייה בצרפת ע"מ לאפשר למועמד לימודים בתנאים הטובים ביותר בפריז.

בתוכנית:

  • חשיפה אל ענף הרדיו הצרפתי, חלוץ בסוגת התיעוד הרדיופוני.
  • לימוד כתיבה והקלטת תוכניות תעודה רדיופוניות בליווי יוצר תעודה/ אמן סאונד ומהנדס סאונד,
  • הדרכה בתהליכי כתיבה קולית שונים,
  • הכשרה בטכניקת ראיונות, יצירת אווירה, נוף קולי, הקלטת סאונד סטריאופוני ועריכת שמע,
  • הכנה לאירועי פיצ'ינג מול אנשי מקצוע בתחום.

ההדרכה מספקת הכשרה תיאורטית, אבל גם הנגשה קונקרטית באמצעות לימודי מקרה מעשיים וכן פגישות ומפגשים עם אנשי הענף (מארגני ואוצרי פסטיבלים, מפיקים, אנשי רדיו ועוד.).

ההכשרה תתנהל באנגלית.

פרופיל המועמד:

  • סטודנטים מרחבי העולם או אנשי מקצוע צעירים המעוניינים ללמוד לכתוב ולהפיק תוכניות תעודה רדיופוניות (כתיבה, הקלטה, עריכה ומיקס)
  • לימודים בתחום האודיו-ויזואלי או התנסות בתחום זה
  • ניסיון ככותב בניהול בלוג / פודקאסט
  • או בעל ניסיון בפרויקט יצירתי הכולל סאונד.

להגשת מועמדות, אנא מלאו את טופס הבקשה להורדה המצורף כאן – הבקשה צריכה להתקבל לפני ה-10 באפריל לכתובת RSVP@ambfr-il.org. ההכרזה על המועמדים שיתקבלו לתוכנית תתקיים ב-30 באפריל.
